Accessibility Statement
Marom Cyber treats accessibility as part of the service. This site was built and remediated to be usable by a wide range of visitors, including people who navigate by keyboard only and people who use assistive technology.
Our commitment
We work in information security and systems development, and we treat accessibility as part of the same job: a good system is one people can actually use.
The standard we followed
The site was made accessible according to Israeli Standard IS 5568, "Guidelines for web content accessibility", which adopts the W3C WCAG 2.0 document at conformance level AA. In some areas we also applied newer requirements from WCAG 2.1 level AA.
Where things actually stand
In our latest round of testing, in October 2026, automated testing found no violations on the pages tested, and the issues found in manual testing were fixed. We keep testing and improving, and we welcome reports of any problem you run into.
What was made accessible
The adjustments actually made, not a general declaration.
Full keyboard navigation
Every link, button, form field and expandable area can be operated with the keyboard alone, with a clear focus indicator showing where you are.
The first Tab press on any page reveals a "Skip to main content" link that jumps past the navigation.
Semantic structure and labels
A correct heading hierarchy, a label bound to every form field, text alternatives for images, and success or error messages announced to screen readers.
Colour contrast
Text on the site was measured and meets a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1, and focus indicators at least 3:1, in both the light and the dark theme. On buttons with a gradient background, contrast was measured against each of the background colours.
Accessible dialogs
The privacy policy and the contact form are marked up as dialogs, focus stays inside them while they are open, and closing with Esc returns focus to where it came from. On English pages the dialogs are laid out left to right, matching the page language.
Accessibility menu
A fixed button at the side of the screen offers high contrast, larger and smaller text, link highlighting and a reset. The site also respects the system setting for reduced motion.
How the site was tested
Automated testing. The axe-core and Lighthouse testing engines were run against the main pages of the site, in Hebrew and English, in both the light and the dark theme.
Manual keyboard testing. The whole site was walked through with the keyboard alone, in Chrome and Firefox, including the contact form, the dialogs and the mobile menu.
Contrast testing. Contrast ratios were measured on the actual colours, including text on gradient backgrounds, rather than estimated by eye.
Layout testing. The site was checked at screen widths of 320, 375, 768 and 1440 pixels, and with enlarged text.
Testing was carried out by Marom Cyber. Last tested: October 2026.
