CISO as a Service: an external information security officer

Information security management at the level of a large, well-secured organization, at a scope and cost that fit you. A clear work plan, personal answers for customers, and someone who sees the whole picture.

Elad personally oversees every engagement and makes sure your information security runs at the highest standard.

What is CISO as a Service, and who is it for?

A CISO is the organization's head of information security: the person who decides what to protect first, how much to invest, and how to make sure the controls really work. In large organizations this is a full-time senior role. In an organization of tens or hundreds of employees, a full-time position is usually hard to justify, but the need is real: customers ask, suppliers touch your systems, and management wants to know someone owns the subject.

CISO as a Service gives you this role for a defined number of hours. There is an annual work plan, someone who answers customers' security questionnaires, oversight of your IT provider, and a clear status picture for management every quarter. You get the experience and judgment of a senior manager, without the cost of a full-time hire.

When it matters

When does an organization need CISO as a Service?

If one of these sounds familiar, it is worth looking into now.

Customers ask who is responsible for security

Supplier questionnaires, tenders and large customers want the name of a security officer and orderly answers. Today it falls on the CEO or the operations manager.

IT is outsourced, and nobody oversees it

Your IT provider does good work, but nobody on your side checks what was set up, what is missing and what is still open.

Management wants one point of contact

Security decisions are spread across people and suppliers. Management wants one person who holds the picture and brings clear recommendations.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about CISO as a Service

If anything is unclear, you can always ask us directly.

Who will be our CISO?
It depends on what your organization needs. Every engagement runs with Elad's personal guidance and oversight, and when required, an experienced CISO on behalf of Marom Cyber is assigned to your organization as well. Either way, responsibility for the result stays with us.
How many hours a month does it include?
The scope is set in advance in the agreement, according to the size of the organization and the requirements it must meet. You can start small and grow as the need grows.
What is the difference between a CISO and our IT provider?
The IT provider runs and maintains the systems. The CISO defines what needs to be protected and how, and makes sure it really happens. The two roles complement each other.
Do you replace our IT staff?
No. We work alongside your existing team and suppliers, and help them work to a clear standard.
Does it suit an organization preparing for ISO 27001?
Yes, and it usually fits very well. The standard requires someone responsible for the information security management system, and CISO as a Service can fill that role before certification and after it.
How much does it cost?
The price depends on the number of hours and the size of the organization. After an introductory call you will receive a clear proposal with a defined scope and price.
