This policy meets the transparency requirements of Amendment 13 to the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981 (the “Law”), and describes how Marom Cyber collects and uses personal information on this website.
Marom Cyber, managed by Elad Elimelech, is the controller of the information collected on this site. This policy explains what details we collect, why, for how long, and how you can exercise your rights regarding them.
When you contact us through the contact form, we collect: full name, phone number, email address, and the content of your inquiry (and, if selected, your area of interest). This information is collected based on your explicit consent when submitting the form, for the purpose of responding to your inquiry, scheduling an introductory call, preparing a quote and providing the requested service. We do not collect sensitive information (such as health, political or biometric data), and we do not use advertising trackers or web-analytics tools (such as Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel) on this site.
We will send you updates, tips or service offers only if you have explicitly and actively opted in on the contact form. You can withdraw this consent at any time, by clicking the unsubscribe link in any message, or by contacting us directly.
Inquiry details are stored in our business email inbox and internal management systems, and are kept for as long as needed to provide the service and comply with legal requirements (and no longer). The information is not sold or transferred to third parties for marketing purposes. The only technical party involved in transmitting the inquiry is the site’s mail/hosting service, used solely to forward the form content to our email. Fonts on the site are loaded from Google Fonts, which may expose your IP address to Google when the page loads — in accordance with Google’s privacy policy.
The site stores only two technical values on your device: your color-theme preference (light/dark) and whether you’ve seen the cookie notice — nothing more. These values are not shared with third parties and are not used for tracking, profiling or advertising.
Under the Law, you may at any time: review the information collected about you; request its correction or update; request its deletion (where there is no legal obligation to retain it); and object to its use for mailings. To do so, you can contact us by email at info@maromcyber.com or by phone at +972-52-4739696. We will respond within a reasonable time and no later than required by law. If you are dissatisfied with how your request was handled, you may contact the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority.
The site operates over a secure protocol (HTTPS/SSL), and access to the collected information is limited to the business owner only. In the event of a security incident affecting personal information, we will act in accordance with the reporting obligations set by law.
Under the Law, the obligation to appoint a Data Protection Officer applies to public bodies and organizations with large or significantly sensitive databases. Marom Cyber is a small business that does not meet these criteria and is therefore not required to appoint a DPO — any privacy matter is handled directly by the business owner using the details above.
We may update this policy from time to time, in line with legislative changes or changes to the site’s activity. An updated version will be published on this page.
